My Wedding Make-up

I haven't been blogging recently as I have been busy getting married!! So I thought I would write a post on what make-up I used for my wedding day and what new products I tried that worked wonders!

For  a wedding day everyone always looks for the perfect waterproof mascara that will give lashes lots of volume and last all day! I decided to try out a high street brand which i've seen a lot of good reviews on for mascaras and that was Bourjois

I tried out their Volume Clubbing waterproof mascara and it is probably the best waterproof mascara I have ever used, it lasted all day and I never ended up with the dreaded panda eyes. The ultimate test was when I took it on honeymoon and I couldn't believe how it didn't budge even after swimming! Great product!

The second product which I took a lot of time deciding on was my lipstick I wanted something fairly natural but long lasting, again I chose a high street brand which was Mybelline.

I decided to try their Super Stay 24 Colour lipstick mainly to see if it actually did what it said it would and stay put! I did test this product a few days before my wedding and was pleasantly surprised as I applied the product in the morning and by evening the colour was still there as vibrant as it was when I first put it on.

This product comes in two steps, first you apply the liquid lip colour to clean, bare lips. Allow a couple of minutes to dry, then apply the ultra-conditioning balm to seal in in the softness and give the appearance of a glossy finish. Then just reapply the balm as and when you need it.

Fantastic product and one I would definitely recommend.
