Ocean Blue
Another big trend for Spring 2013 make-up is blue eye liner and blue eye shadow.
There are a variety of shades of blue such as navy, sapphire and turquoise which is why it's such a great colour to experiment with to accentuate your eyes. Blue eye-shadow can be perfectly matched with a light lipstick or gloss and soft pink cheeks to make your appearance look fresh and bright.
In these photos I have tried and tested my most recent purchase for my make-up kit which is the Revlon Photo Ready foundation.
I decided to purchase this foundation after reading such good reviews on how well it covers and the airbrushed effect it leaves on the skin whilst also looking amazing in photos. I must say I am very happy with the result it has definitely lived up to my expectations!

Aztec Make-up
Aztec print is a key trend this season and seems to be appearing everywhere right now. I love the aztec black and white prints so thought I would create a spring trend aztec inspired make-up look.

Spring Make-up: Strong versus Subtle
Spring make-up this year is all about playing up the features you want to draw attention to with colour, whilst keeping the rest of the look simple and glowing.
Bright reds and pinks are the most popular colour for lips this spring. Here I have used a Graftobian red lip pencil to outline my lips and shade them in, then applied Benefits 'Benetint Rose' lip tint finished with a top coat of Vaseline to give a more glossy effect.

Tangerine Tango
Another big colour trend for Spring 2012 is Tangerine - a highly saturated orange with a reddish undertone which looks great on every skin tone.
A great way to wear this colour is bold and bright on the lips keeping eye make up to a minimal.

Spring = Pastels
Spring is here and the big colour trend for Spring 2012 is mint green!
I love this colour and have seen it creeping up more and more in fashion and beauty products alongside other pretty pastel shades.
Pastel pinks are another one of my favourite colours this spring and I wanted to create a look combining the two together resulting in soft, airy and fresh looking make-up.
